Hawariyaw Yilma, known as Hawi, is an experienced footballer and passionate coach with a strong background in competitive soccer. Born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Hawi played for Tesfa Football Academy, CBE FC, and Eltex FC, representing his teams in prestigious tournaments such as the Gothia Cup and the Ethiopian National League U17 for three years.

Hawi began his coaching journey in 2022 at Tesfa Football Academy, where he gained hands-on experience in player development and team management. Currently a sophomore at Montgomery College majoring in Computer Science, he balances his academic pursuits with his commitment to coaching and his dream of playing professionally.

With his extensive playing experience and dedication to mentoring young athletes, Hawi brings energy, skill, and leadership to EVFC. His goal is to cultivate exceptional athletes who excel both on and off the soccer field. He is dedicated to fostering a deep passion for the game among the next generation by establishing a dynamic and positive atmosphere during practices and games. Hawi emphasizes the importance of teamwork, effective communication, and collaboration as essential elements for player success.
